"It was a brilliant holiday and as a trip of a lifetime it didnt let me down. The calm reassurance of your offices in planning the trip as a slightly nervous traveller was equally matched by the quality of the guiding which was superb. The contrast of Atacama (how can a desert be so full of surprises and colourful?) with the dramatic aweinspiring sites and weather of the glaciers and mountains of Patagonia was stunning. The galapagos on your choice of boat was the priveleged way to explore the islands and made me think I am now a professional photographer. An amazing trip with great guides to make it a meaningful and interesting holiday with an element of challenge which is what I wanted. Many thanks. "

"We just want to thank you for a really fantastic holiday in the Picos with Pura and two really great guys Alex and Jesus. They really made the holiday for us and looked after us so well, taking us to local places we would never have found and spending so much time with us. We just loved the Picos, gorgeous villages, sea, mountains, people, food and great local community spirit. We will definitely be back, so keep organising those fantastic holidays in such a very special place. Best and nicest place I have been to and I have travelled the world. Don't tell too many people, and keep it small so the masses of tourists don't ruin such a lovely place."
Nina M  |  Picos Family Adventure  | 2008
"Having just returned from the Picos, I wanted to let you know that we had a great time and that all your arrangements were excellent. Both the hotels were charming and in Alex, we couldn't have had a better guide and companion to show us around and to provide plenty of insights on so many different things. We did walks and saw places off the beaten track that we certainly wouldn't have got to on our own. Thank you for making this possible - it has certainly whetted our appetite for more!"
Alastair C  |  Picos Walk  | 2009
"Thanks for all you excellent organisation, I would be happy to recommend Pura Aventura. If I think of any more relevant comments, I’ll let you know but the main thing was that it was a fabulous holiday which exceeded our expectations. "
Pam P  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2009
"Just back had a fantastic holiday. The Peru trip was great and the guide superb. The walk was great and being behind evryone a half day was just right, we hardly saw a soul and the sites were magical. Galapagos was also fantastic!"
Debbie C  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2009
"We had a lovely time in Mallorca. The hotel and its setting was excelent. Tolo and his staff were most kind and helpful. We frequently had our evening meal in Tolo's mother's restaurant as it was convenient, in the heart of the town, the food was good. Also Tolo's mother made us most welcome. We went for a very enjoyable day's walking with Miguel, he is a very good guide and took us on a walk that is not included in your list but to be fair without Miguel we would never have found it. "
Peter A  |  Mallorca Self Drive  | 2009
"We had a fantastic time something we will never forget. Pura Aventura was superb - very helpful with the booking, the guides were excellent and the whole experience went without a hitch."
Tricia B  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2009
"Definitely ***** - the best holiday we've ever had! "
Carol S  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2009
"Standing at the Sun's Gate looking down on Machu Picchu for the first time was awesome! Sitting on a beach having a young sea lion coming up to me and rub his whiskers against my leg was touching. Being accompanied by local guides who were professional in, and dedicated to, their to culture and history was very interesting."
Finn B  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2009
"Just to say what a great trip we had. Apart from the one hiccup at Casa Donoso, everything went like clockwork. We really enjoyed the variety of places we stayed and the excellent guides. Thanks very much indeed for all the time you put into planning it, and to your staff for organising it. The happy birthday greeting at Iguacu and the birthday cake at the hotel were a wonderfully personal touch. "
Caroline L  |  Vineyards and Volcanoes Self Drive  | 2009
"Wonderful trip, Pura Aventura delivered all as advertised. We provided best weather in park for several weeks, every top and valley was clear. Would you please thank Juan, he added a dimension to the trip neither of us expected. Constantly pointing out features in the park, wildlife, plants and trees. We also learned some of the history of Chilean Patagonia, I am glad he did not test us, I believe I only retained about twentyfive per cent! "
Richard S  |  Patagonia Mountain Circuit  | 2009
"I do not want to go on holiday with another company now that I have been on two with Pura Aventura. We have had two guides and both have given 100% to us regarding knowledge and companionship. "
Pat D  |  Vineyards and Volcanoes  | 2008
"I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic holiday my husband and I had. The organisation of the trip was excellent and we felt we must write to thank you and to let you know that all the people we met and places we stayed in were superb. In particular, our guide on the Inca Trail, Carlos, was brilliant – so knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and funny. The porters on our trail were also marvellous (we couldn’t believe there were so many people just to look after the two of us!) as was the food (I shall now be expecting tasty 3 course meals from my husband when we go camping in future). Our Galapagos cruise was awesome with the crew and guide of the Cachalote being second-to-none. The food, again, was fantastic as was the itinerary for the trip and knowledge of our guide (who by the way was called Darwin – he assured us this was his real name, although we still have our doubts!) Overall, we have had a wonderful experience with Pura Aventura. Thanks again. "
Claire H  |  Peru Galapagos  | 2008
"We'll we're back from the honeymoon, we had a great time on the Inca Trail. I actually think we ate more food there than any other part of the trip - those chef porters are certainly more inventive than I am going round Sainsburys. And the Pueblo Hotel was so nice after three nights in a tent, wish we could've stayed longer. "
Rachel R  |  Inca Trail  | 2008
"Pura are an excellent company with the needs of the client as the number one priority. The staff are excellent from start to finish and the standards of the information packs are the best I have ever experienced. Nothing is ever too much trouble. This was a wonderful holiday that went smoothly from start to finish. Alex was an excellent guide, he took us to some of the most beautiful areas I have ever visited it certainly opened my eyes to a part of Spain everyone should experience. The picnic lunches have to be seen to be believed, he always chose locally produced food and I didnt think one rucksack could provide so much food! In the evenings he took us to restaurants you wouldnt necessarily find if you were by yourself and he was on hand to advise on good dishes (and wines). The accomodation was 1st class and ran by wonderful people who knew how to provide comfort and maintain that family run feel. We have now been on two pura holidays and are looking forward to our third and continue to recommend the company to our friends. "
Jean P  |  Picos Walk  | 2008
"I think that Pura Aventura is a friendly and professional company that offers what it claims to offer.....true adventure combined with comfort, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and convenience. It is wonderful to find a holiday company that gives you value for money and really cares about its customers."
Jane D  |  Rioja Walk  | 2008
"The whole of the organisation was excellent, everything that we booked happened in the way that we expected and the guides that we met were very interesting helpful and knowledgeable. We especially liked the way that the Inca Trail was done, starting after lunch on the first day, so that we were not walking or camping with lots of other groups."
Diane S  |  Peru Uncovered  | 2008
"Excellent holiday with great organisation. Pura arranged our holiday perfectly with that of our friends so that we both did exactly what we wanted to without compromise.Very good organisation and great guides."
Christine M  |  Peru Uncovered  | 2008
"Hi, safely home after a great walk. We found the accommodation was good to excellent. We never lost our way and appreciated the care that had been given to sorting out a suitable route. Everything went very smoothly and we will strongly recommend Pura Aventura to our friends as well as plan to return for another walk. Once again many thanks for a great walking holiday. "
David C  |  Picos Inn to Inn  | 2008
"Our holiday was everything we had hoped it would be. Your two guides were briliant - they took us to some spectacular, unspoilt places which I shall remember for ever. They were very considerate of the less able in the group and were more than happy to alter the day's event to satisfy everyone's wishes. The accommodation was of a very high standard and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for anyone. In conclusion, this was a fantastic holiday and hope we can find something next year to equal it. "
