On arrival in the Lake District you are collected for the transfer into the heart of the Huilo Huilo reserve. Stay in a spectacular hotel surrounded by forests, lakes and volcanoes.
Your lodge is in the heart of a biosphere reserve, in the shadow of Mocho Volcano nearby lakes, rivers and waterfalls. There are a remarkable number of activities on offer here, from self guided trails to horse riding.

Transfer out of the forest today to fly south to the southerly end of the Lake District. Your destination today is the town of Puerto Varas on the shore of Lake Llanquihue.
Your days here in Puerto Varas are an opportunity to simply relax and explore at your own pace. One of the most obvious things to do is to head east towards the volcano and the Vincente Perez Rosales National Park.
Another full day to explore. There are local operators in Puerto Varas offering all manner of excursions from white water rafting to mountain biking and hiking.
Transfer back to the airport in Puerto Montt to catch your flight south Punta Arenas, gateway to Chile’s southern Patagonia. Stay at the luxurious Remota lodge on the edge of Puerto Natales.
Each day you have a choice of five excursions (a variety of walking, riding, mountain biking or vehicle based) into different areas around Natales. In addition to the obvious choice of seeing Torres del Paine you should see Baguales and Sierra Dorotea.
You might like to take a beautiful full day hike into the Sierra Dorotea as far as the peaks of the range which would give you fantastic views over the Last Hope Sound towards Torres del Paine in the distance.
If the weather is clear today then you might want to head into the Torres del Paine National Park to hike to the base of the Torres or towers.
If you want to walk more today then there is a hike in the area along the visionary Sendero de Chile, a hiking trail which is gradually spreading the full length of the country.
Travel up from the far south to the capital, Santiago. Today is a long travel day although the views are always a treat. Dress comfortably, relax and enjoy.
