Your guide will be at the airport to welcome you and drive you into the Picos mountains to your small hotel high in the hills above the Liebana Valley.

Enjoy a pretty walk through the meadows, woodland and villages of the Liebana Valley as you get used to the beautiful surroundings.

Take the cable-car at Fuente Dé for a spectacular three minute ride up 1,000m to the upper reaches of the mountains and a walk up to one of the highest peaks.

Change hotels as you move to the north west of the Picos mountains. Continue to the coast to ride bikes along coast. Stop to explore sandy coves and beaches.

The most famous walk in the Picos is the Cares Gorge. The path runs along the wall of the gorge, cut into the rock, narrowing to just two metres in places.

Morning visit to a conservation project, afternoon to relax at the beach.

Spend the morning canoeing down the river. Afternoon optional canyoning activity.

Transfer to the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, extend your holiday to take in more of this lovely part of Spain.
