The trail covers 28 miles over 4 days. However, it is at high altitude and the going can be slow and fairly tough. You must be used to hill walking to enjoy the trail.

How comfortable?
We can tailor this trip to your needs but the holiday as described includes accommodation as follows.

Exceptional five star hotel in Chillán with all of the facilities one would expect. In addition, the hotel has its own spa and natural hot springs.

In Santiago stay in a locally owned first class hotel in the centre of the city.

Stay in a suite in a new small hotel in the centre of Cusco.

Fully portaged camping on the Inca Trail. Dining and toilet tents are provided.

Uninspiring but comfortable hotel near Machu Picchu.

How independent?
You’re very independent on this holiday, but with access to our guide, Maria, in Santiago in case of need.

All of our Inca Trails are dedicated Pura Aventura departures.

Maximum group size is 16 with two guides. More usually our groups are of around six or eight people with one guide.

We offer tailor made departures on any date you want, we then open these up as group departure dates.

We can also offer private Inca Trails, please enquire as to prices for this.
