In the Lakes you are likely to experience cold evenings and mornings but mild daytime temperatures. The proximity of the Andes means that it quickly gets cold at night. Be prepared for rainfall.

Walks are designed to be suitable for any reasonably fit person. There are opportunities for walks, rides and other activities all along the route.

Alternatively, you might like to simply take it easy and enjoy the stunning scenery.

First class small hotels with twin/double en suite rooms throughout.

Some are fairly luxurious, others are more simple but very friendly. All have been carefully chosen by us to best reflect the areas through which you are travelling.

Fully guided throughout by a Pura guide in a small group of up to eight people.

This holiday tends to attract predominantly couples, mainly in their 50s & 60s with some slightly younger.

The split between couples and solo travellers is usually around 80:20.

This is the first of our trips to really focus more on the people and culture (including viticulture) than on the scenery.
