Morning flight from Santiago to ski resort of Chillán in the Chilean Lake District. Afternoon soak in the hot springs of your spa hotel. (d)
Day 3 | Chillán | Ski in the Andes
Ski the slopes over two volcanoes. From the top of the resort (2,700m) you look out across the Andes. Chillán offers 10,000 hectares of skiable terrain. (b,d)
Day 4 | Chillán | Ski in the Andes
5 hours of small group lessons are included for you today. (b,d)
Day 5 | Chillán | Ski in the Andes
Full day to ski. For some pampering, book in for a massage or treatment in the spa. (b,d)
Day 6 | Chillán | Ski in the Andes
Try cross-country skiing, dog-sledding or heli-skiing for some serious off-piste adventure. (b,d)
Day 7 | Chillán | Ski in the Andes

Morning to explore Santiago. Afternoon flight up to San Pedro de Atacama and your boutique hotel. (b)
Day 11 | Atacama | Explore desert habitats
Morning bike ride across the salt flats. Lunch and early afternoon to relax. Afternoon walk in the salt mountains. (b)
Day 12 | Atacama | Day walking in the Andes
Full day walking
on old Inca roads from the high Andes down to the Salt Mountains.
Walk 18km, 5hrs, down 1,000m. (b,l)
Day 13 | Atacama | Volcano walk to summit
After several days of being active at altitude, today’s walk takes you high to the summit of a dormant volcano.
Walk 6km, 3hrs, up 420m, down 420m. Relax this afternoon. (b)
Day 14 | Atacama | Geysers and springs
Start the day with a visit to the world’s highest geothermal field – the Tatio geysers.
Fly to Santiago this evening your last night in Chile. (b)
Day 15 | Santiago | Depart for home
Free morning to explore the city before flying home (flight times may vary). (b)
