Pura Aventura Tailor Made Holidays in Spain & Latin America
Spain & Latin America: tailor made holidays in comfort
Some people come to us with a plan already made, others are just looking for inspiration. Here are some recent examples of tailormade holidays to inspire you:
Peru & Galapagos: a family holiday for 5 travelling over Christmas and New Year to take in the highlights of Peru before an 8 day cruise around the Galapagos Islands.
Chile Self Drive: a (fairly) last minute 3 centre honeymoon taking in Chile's Atacama Desert, a remote lodge in Patagonia and a boutique spa hotel in Brazil. Arranged with 3 weeks notice.
Peru & Galapagos: a last minute 3 week trip around Peru and Ecuardor before ending with a cruise around the Galapagos Islands. The cloudforest in Ecuador was a particular unexpected highlight. Again, arranged with 2-3 weeks notice.
Chile & Brazil Honeymoon: a (fairly) last minute 3 centre honeymoon taking in Chile's Atacama Desert, a remote lodge in Patagonia and a boutique spa hotel in Brazil. Arranged with 3 weeks notice.
Picos Corporate Break: a 2 day/1 night away break for team of 7 from a major business services firm. Activities included walking, canyoning and cycling. The trip was designed to be a fun, informal and active team building trip.
Picos Corporate Break 2: a 3 day/2 night away break for a group of friends all of whom run major businesses. Activities included walking, canoeing and cycling. In the midst of the activities, they ran their own workshops. The trip was designed to be a fun, informal networking/learning trip.
Pyrenees Corporate Break: a 3 day/2 night away break for a group of VIP clients. Good walking, a bit of rafting and some fantastic food and wine. the group stayed in a boutique hotel in a small village.
Picos Charity Challenge: a group of 10 people crossing the Picos mountains in order to raise money for their favourite charity. Pura Aventura has arranged the holiday and has also made donations to the charity in question.
Aracena 40th Birthday: a group of 12 people enjoying a 5 day walk in Andalucia in order to celebrate a 40th birthday. More like a reunion than a walking holiday, this one includes delicious food and wine.
Easter Island & Galapagos: when a client of (somewhat) advancing years discovered that she could combine these 2 magical 'must-see' destinations in one trip, she was delighted having previously resigned herself to never getting out to Easter Island.
Ski Chile & proposal: a group of 7 skiing in Chile for a fortnight. Whilst in the resort of Portillo one of the party decides he wants to propose. We arranged for them to open Tio Bob's slope-top restaurant one night, a piste grooming machine turned up at the door of the hotel to carry the couple up to the restaurant where dinner for 2 was laid out. There, on top of the Andes, on a clear starry night, he proposed. Funnily enough, she said yes.
Costa Rica birthday: a surprise 50th birthday this time. A familiy of 4 go off on holiday to see the beaches and jungles of Costa Rica when a large group of friends 'turned up' at one of their hotels as if by coincidence.
Picos Self-Cycle: a group of 5 friends want to do some cycling, nothing too challenging, in the Picos for 5 days. We arranged their transport, their hotels, bikes and routes with a guide sent out to settle them in on arrival. We changed their hotel when we found out that they were all strict vegetarians - to one which has a vegetarian owner, the best way we knew to make sure that everyone was fed well.
Ski & beach honeymoon: he's in charge of week 1 and she's in charge of week 2. Skiing & beach seemed like the natural choice so they spend 1 week skiing in the Andes followed by 1 week relaxing in an exclusive boutique hotel in a peaceful beach village near Rio.
Luxury Nicaragua: a private Latin Revelation holiday with a luxurious ending in the beautiful and exclusive Morgan's Rock resort in the south of the country. A really unusual off the beaten track experience.
Costa Rica family: a Christmas holiday with a difference. Keep the children amused in this most family friendly of countries. The highlight of the holiday, wasn't the Pacific beaches, rafting through a jungle, the active volcano nor walking through the rainforest canopy - it was seeing a boa constrictor swallowing a baby howler monkey on the way back to the hotel one day.
Adventure weekend in the Picos: a group of friends headed out to the Picos mountains for a long weekend of walking, mountain biking and canyoning. Oh, and eating and drinking.
South American Epic: couple retiring decide to take off around South America when they retire - Galapagos, Inca Trail, Lake Titicaca, Bolivia, hiking in Chile, Iguassu Falls, Rio.....the list goes on and would make most people jealous.
Luxury Chile: another summer wedding. This time the happy couple decide to ignore the seasons and head to the luxurious Explora hotel in Patagonia in its mid-winter (August). In fact the weather was stunning, there were very few people around and they had a fantastic time.
