It’s never too late to talk to us about a trip so if you’re still wondering where to go this Easter, whether for a family adventure or walking and culture getaway, here we list our favourite places to go.

Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

Easter is one of our favourite times of year in the Galapagos as the dry season comes to an end but you have nice sunny weather and warm seas. In terms of wildlife, it is the mating season for landbirds, sea turtles and sea lions. On almost all Islands, there is an abundance of newborn wildlife (Green Sea Turtles and Galapagos Land Iguanas). Moreover, that’s also the perfect time to go underwater as visibility is very clear allowing great diving and snorkeling. Although it’s potentially late to get you on a small boat cruise, our Galapagos land based trip is definitely an option and gets you to three different Galapagos islands.

Andalucia, Spain

Already nicely warm, Andalucia is also an excellent place to spend your Easter holidays. With time in Seville to enjoy the dramatic Semana Santa processions, our Andalucia Inn to Inn itinerary in the mountains of Sierra de Aracena also allows you to enjoy peaceful rural Spain at a slower pace. Visit the prettiest white-washed villages of the area, walk through evergreen chestnut forests and see ibérico pigs roaming free amongst cork oaks.

Catalonia, Spain

Another great last-minute Easter trip idea ideal for walkers is a self guided walk to Catalonia. Far enough from Barcelona’s buzzing lifestyle, the trip leads you across the heartlands of Catalonia, from the mountains to the sea of the Costa Brava. With beautifully varied walking and expansive views over the surrounding hills and mountains, this trip also offers fantastic hotels and gourmet dining.

Costa Rica

Being the end of the Costa Rican dry season, April is the hottest time of year on the Pacific side of the country. This makes it one of the most popular months for travel but luckily we specialise in taking you off the beaten track so we can get you on an active family adventure or relaxed wildlife getaway to jungles, mountains and coast.
